Abigail L. Foxwell, Environmental Protection Specialist and Adjunct Professor, US NAVY/NAVSUP and York College

Abigail Foxwell is an Environmental Protection Specialist for the US Navy working under NAVSUP WSS in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. During her time with the Navy, Abigail has received multiple awards from her department and the Navy command for her work in HAZMAT and pollution prevention, as well as her unwavering support for the fleet. Abigail was recruited by the Navy just two months before she graduated from York College of Pennsylvania. Abigail graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a focus in sustainability and environmental studies. As a student at York College, she joined the AXS fraternity as a brother and Health and Safety Officer; she presided over the Chemistry society at York College for two years and received honors and accommodations for her work in the chemistry department. She continues to support her Alma Mater as an adjunct laboratory professor in the general chemistry program this year for the third consecutive year.
