Kayla Hughes is a digital marketing professional with over a decade of experience in strategy, analytics, and campaign management across local, national, and global initiatives. As the Senior CX Digital Strategist at Capital Blue Cross, Kayla specializes in developing impactful, data-driven marketing strategies that enhance customer experiences and build authentic engagement with both B2C and B2B audiences. Passionate about mentorship, Kayla is committed to empowering young women, especially those in STEM, and fostering growth through guidance and collaboration.
Before joining Capital Blue Cross, Kayla worked in marketing agency environments, such as Godfrey, one of the top B2B marketing agencies in the United States. During her time at Godfrey she worked with leading commercial brands within the chemicals, building materials, manufacturing, logistics, packaging, and life sciences spaces such as JLG, Johnson Controls, Solenis, and ASSA ABLOY.
Kayla graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing where she also played Club Basketball, was a features writer for the school newspaper, interned with Philadelphia Magazine, and became a founding member of the Phi Sigma Sigma, Iota Rho Sorority Chapter.
Outside the office she enjoys shopping online and at local boutiques, going to the farmer’s market for iced coffee and flowers, experiencing great food over in-depth conversations with friends (and sometimes posting it on her Foodie Instagram Account, @lanc_eatz), and spending time with her husband and dog at their home in Lancaster, PA.
