Victoria Kerr, Senior Director of Career, Mentoring, and Professional Development Center, Shippensburg University
Victoria is the Senior Director of Career, Mentoring, and Professional Development Center at Shippensburg University. Since starting at Shippensburg University in 2013, Victoria loves developing new and innovative career design programs to assist students and alumni in reaching their academic and career goals. She is passionate about connecting students/alumni to their purpose and developing those interests, skills, and abilities into a successful career path. Victoria is focused on building career readiness and achievement with an emphasis on building strong relationships with campus and community partners to enhance students’ professional growth.
Prior to Shippensburg University, she served as the Director of the Career Development Center/ Undeclared Students at Shepherd University, held roles within Human Resources for over 8 years at the American Bar Association, American Woodmark, and ATPCO. Victoria holds a Master of Arts in College Student Development from Shepherd University and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from American University. Currently, Victoria is working on her Principal Certification through Shippensburg University, in hopes of advancing career design and workforce development in K-12 education. In addition, Victoria serves as a board member to the Leadership Franklin County Youth program as well as a fellow within the Education Policy Fellowship Program. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her three kids, walking/ hiking the C&O canal, and gardening.
