Beverly Magda, Ph.D. is the Associate Provost, Strategic Partnerships at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She focuses on partnership development with other academic institutions and corporations. Previously, she served as Associate Dean, Faculty Director, and Associate Professor of Technology Management and Systems Engineering Management at Georgetown University.
Prior to moving into academia full-time, Beverly spent over 20 years in the technology field leading projects focused on enterprise-wide systems initiatives and organizational systems change. Her experience in managing projects from a systems level combined with her research led to publications and presentations regarding organizational systems change.
Dr. Magda taught at Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, George Washington University, and Hood College at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Beverly holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the George Washington University. She also holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science. Dr. Magda is a member of EDUCAUSE, INCOSE and serves on the boards of a community college and non-profit organization.
